About The Position

Audi Fort Lauderdale is seeking a dedicated Service Advisor to serve as the link between customers and expert technicians. The role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment and helping earn customers for life. The Service Advisor initiates automotive services and repairs by identifying vehicle performance problems and service requests, checking warranty and service contract coverage, preparing estimates and repair orders, and maintaining customer records. The position also includes communicating service needs and recommendations, administering qualifying manufacturer warranty repairs, and keeping customers informed about service specials, completion times, and expenses.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Must be 18 years or older.
A team player focused on providing exemplary customer service.
Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in the state of residence.

Nice To Haves

Previous Service Advisor experience is preferred.
Prior experience as an automotive technician is a plus.

Responsibilities

Identify vehicle performance problems and service requests and initiate automotive services and repairs.
Verify warranty and service contract coverage.
Develop estimates, including material, supply, and labor costs and customer payments such as deductibles.
Prepare repair orders, obtain approval signatures, and enter repair orders into the service database system.
Act as liaison between customers and technicians to ensure customer needs and required or recommended repairs are understood.
Communicate additional repair and service needs to customers based on vehicle inspections.
Administer manufacturer warranties for qualifying vehicle repairs.
Keep customers informed about service specials, completion times, and service expenses.
Maintain customer records.
