About The Position
Subaru of Sterling is seeking a motivated Service Advisor to join their team. This role involves inspecting and diagnosing vehicle problems, communicating repair estimates to customers, prioritizing tasks, and collaborating with technicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of vehicle systems and dealership operations.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in an automotive service advisor role or related field
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, repair procedures, and industry standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Familiarity with dealership management systems and software
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required
- Must be able to work in a drug-free workplace
Responsibilities
- Inspect and diagnose vehicle problems to determine necessary repairs and maintenance
- Communicate repair estimates and recommendations to customers in a clear and concise manner
- Prioritize tasks to ensure completion of repairs and maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, repair orders, and vehicle history
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and efficient repair processes
