About The Position

Berman Hyundai is looking to add an experienced Service Advisor to the team! This is a full-time position with a competitive commission pay plan. The Service Advisor will be responsible for greeting customers, documenting service needs, recommending maintenance, preparing estimates, and communicating with customers and technicians.

Requirements

Dealership Service Advisor experience, required
Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately document service requests and recommendations
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

Tekion and Hyundai experience, highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and courteously upon arrival at the service drive
Obtain customer and vehicle information
Listen attentively to customers' concerns and accurately document their vehicle service needs
Determine and recommend necessary maintenance based on age, mileage and history of the vehicle.
Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts.
Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicle repairs and address any questions or concerns they may have
Comfortably and clearly explain all completed work and charges to the customer
Coordinate service appointments and ensure timely completion of service orders
Collaborate closely with service technicians, parts department, and other dealership personnel to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction
