Requirements
- A minimum of one year of previous experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership setting is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- 18 years or older required
- All potential employees must pass pre-employment testing including a background check and drug screen
Nice To Haves
- Prior Toyota brand and CDK experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring an exemplary experience for the service customer by providing a prompt and friendly greeting, listening to their description of problems or services needed, preparing repair orders and being proactive, accurate and thorough in communication.
- Serving as a liaison between customer and technician ensuring the customer’s needs are understood by the technician and the recommended service and/or repairs are understood by the customer.
- Preparing accurate Repair Orders showing time, cost and labor estimates, verifying warranty and service contracts and reviewing with clients.
- Promoting the sale of labor, parts and accessories by providing explanation of estimates and obtaining approval for work that is sold.
- Following the progress of service repairs and providing customers with timely updates.
- Ensuring high levels of customer service and retention by promptly addressing and resolving customer complaints.
- Taking ownership of the customer's experience by completing extra tasks that contribute to leaving a positive impression at the dealership.
