Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of Automotive Service Advisor/Writing experience
Working knowledge and experience of automotive products, repairs, and parts
Strong communication skills and the ability to translate customers’ needs to workable technician orders
Strong writing and typing skills
Authorized to work in the USA
Ability to demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver's license
Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under shop insurance policy (Not an excluded driver)

Responsibilities

Advising and greeting customers
Listening to their description of the problems or service needed
Determining the type of service required
Preparing repair orders
Estimating the additional cost for unexpected repairs and obtaining customer permission
Following all company processes and procedures
Advising customers of necessary services, repairs, and benefits
Maintaining Pricing Policies
Meeting manufacturer’s customer satisfaction levels
Maintaining company standards of gross profit production and customer satisfaction
Communicating internally and externally with other departments, employees, and vendors
Updating and communicating with customers in a timely manner
Complying with all rules and regulations as required
