About The Position

Don Hattan Ford is seeking an experienced, friendly, and motivated Service Advisor to join their team. This is a mainline service advisor position, ideal for someone with previous service writing experience, particularly with the Ford brand. The role involves managing customer interactions, vehicle information, repair estimates, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

Requirements

  • Great attitude with a commitment to positive customer experience
  • Ability to work as part of a team and support other advisors when necessary
  • Prior experience as a service advisor preferred
  • Prior experience with the Ford brand preferred
  • Money-motivated with a desire to grow

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly
  • Obtain customer and vehicle information
  • Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
  • Determine and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage, and history of vehicle
  • Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
  • Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
  • Explain all completed work and charges to customers
