About The Position

Don Hattan Ford is experiencing high demand for repairs and is looking to expand its team. The company is seeking an experienced, friendly, and motivated individual to fill a Mainline Service Advisor position. This role is ideally suited for someone with previous service writing experience, with a particular interest in candidates who have experience with the Ford brand.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a service advisor preferred
  • Prior experience with the Ford brand preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly
  • Obtain customer and vehicle information
  • Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
  • Determine and recommend maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle
  • Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
  • Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
  • Explain all completed work and charges to customers
