About The Position

We are seeking candidates with flexible availability, including mornings and evenings during the week, as well as weekends. Our Servers are an integral part of the team who provide an exceptional dining experience to all restaurant patrons by providing prompt service, taking accurate orders, and being knowledgeable on all menu items and daily specials. The Server performs duties in a friendly and professional manner while complying with all restaurant and health service guidelines and procedures. Requirements

For licensed venues, candidates must be the required age of majority or older.
You have a high school diploma or GED at a minimum.
You have strong service experience – someone who thrives on engaging guests and able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, and professionally at all times.
You are highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow you to work effectively under pressure and in a diverse working environment.
You are an effective communicator both verbally and in writing.
You have a strong attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

1-3 years of restaurant service experience considered an asset.

Responsibilities

End-to-end serving process including the proper setting of tables, taking guests’ orders and ensuring these are given to the appropriate team member to execute, serving food and beverages, ensuring guests are correctly charged, presenting the bill and obtaining payment
Removing used dishes and place settings, ensuring tables are cleared as soon as guests have finished their food or drink with an experienced balance between speed, yet allowing guests to finish their meal without feeling rushed
Maintaining a clean working area ensuring to change table linen when required, cleaning and refilling condiment sets, and ensuring storerooms are adequately stocked with replacement cutlery, linen or other required items
