About The Position

Arrow Senior Living manages a collection of senior living communities that offer varying levels of care including independent living, assisted living, and memory care in 34 properties currently in 6 states (Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Illinois, Ohio, Arkansas) and employs nearly 2,200 employees! This position is located at Ridgemere Senior Living in Conway, AR. We are looking for someone with a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents! The role involves being a great host by greeting residents, being present in the dining room, mingling, entertaining, and fostering an environment where residents can connect. It also includes being a prepper, ensuring tables are set and meal components are ready, and maintaining tidiness by bussing tables and sweeping floors. An important aspect is also observing residents' dietary habits and appetite changes, communicating these to supervisors and Wellness. The role requires physical activity including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping, with the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds. Assistance with resident mobility and post-fall care is also part of the responsibilities. A criminal background check is required.

Requirements

  • At least sixteen (16) years of age
  • Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency
  • Positive and energetic attitude
  • Active: requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
  • Must be criminally cleared

Responsibilities

  • Greet residents and make them feel welcome
  • Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain
  • Foster an environment where residents can connect
  • Prep tables for service, salads for the next meal, and roll silverware
  • Bus tables
  • Sweep floors
  • Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed
  • Communicate when residents are absent from meals
  • Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
  • Assist persons after a fall
