About The Position
We are looking for someone to be a Host with the Most, a Peppy Prepper, a Titan of Tidiness, and an “Appetite Anthropologist.” As a Host, you will greet residents and make them feel welcome, be present in the dining room, mingle, entertain, and foster an environment where residents can connect. As a Peppy Prepper, you will understand that a successful meal service can only happen if you’re prepared, whether prepping a table for service, salads for the next meal, or rolling silverware. As a Titan of Tidiness, you will handle bussing tables and sweeping floors, playing a crucial part in making the community something we can be proud of. As an “Appetite Anthropologist,” you will communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.
Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (18) years of age
- Can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency
- Have a positive and energetic attitude
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
- Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
- Must be able to assist persons after a fall
- Must be criminally cleared
