About The Position
Topgolf is hiring a part-time Server to welcome Players, deliver attentive food and beverage service, and help create a fun, memorable experience. The role involves engaging with Players, learning about their visit, recommending food, beverages, and gaming options, and supporting sales through thoughtful suggestive selling. Servers work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and collaborate closely with other Playmakers to keep service smooth and welcoming. Servers take orders quickly and accurately, provide food and beverage recommendations, refill drinks, clear tables, and keep bay areas clean and organized. They help set up bays, respond to concerns, and maintain a strong T-line presence. The role also requires following safety and sanitation standards and demonstrating Topgolf’s values of Fun, One Team, Excellence, Courage, and Caring. This active position requires standing and walking for most of the shift, moving between tasks, and lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds. Applicants must be of legal age to serve alcohol where required by law.
Requirements
- Experience serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in a restaurant, hospitality, or entertainment setting.
- Positive attitude, teamwork orientation, and strong focus on the Player experience.
- Ability to stay calm and effective in a popular, high-volume environment.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds and to bend and stoop.
- Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift and perform ongoing physical tasks.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol where required by law.
Responsibilities
- Welcome Players to their bays with energy and enthusiasm and help set the stage for an enjoyable visit.
- Learn why Players are visiting and explain Topgolf offerings.
- Recommend food, beverages, and gaming options suited to Players’ visits and use thoughtful suggestive selling to drive sales.
- Provide food and beverage recommendations and take orders quickly and accurately.
- Clear tables, refill drinks, and keep bay areas clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Maintain a strong T-line presence and work with fellow Playmakers to deliver a positive Player experience.
- Help set up bays and resolve Player concerns with a smile.
- Follow safety and sanitation standards and help keep bays clean and safe.
