About The Position

Servers at Hurricane's San Marco greet guests and serve food and beverage orders in a friendly, efficient manner while following company brand standards. They help provide a satisfying guest experience from seating through payment, and perform assigned cleaning, stocking, and other service duties. The position requires standing and walking throughout a 4–8-hour shift.

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk throughout a 4–8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests.
• Use suggestive selling techniques and record guest orders.
• Ensure prompt placement of orders and follow up to confirm guest satisfaction.
• Remove unneeded dishes and utensils.
• Prepare desserts and beverages for guests.
• Clear remaining items from tables, then clean and reset tables.
• Collect guest payments according to established cash-handling procedures and follow the guest-check control policy.
• Perform assigned cleaning and stocking side work.
• Periodically assist other service personnel.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
