About The Position

Servers at Hurricane's San Marco greet guests and serve food and beverage orders in a friendly and efficient manner while following company brand standards. The role includes guest service, order handling, table upkeep, payment collection, and assigned cleaning and stocking duties. Servers may also assist other service personnel and perform other duties assigned by a supervisor. The position requires standing and walking throughout a 4–8-hour shift.

Requirements

• Be able to stand and walk throughout a 4–8-hour shift.
• Serve food and beverage orders in a friendly and efficient manner while following company brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests.
• Use suggestive selling techniques, record orders, ensure prompt placement of orders, follow up on guest satisfaction, and remove unneeded dishes and utensils.
• Prepare desserts and beverages for guests.
• Clear remaining items from tables, then clean and reset tables.
• Collect guest payments according to established cash-handling procedures and follow guest check control policy.
• Perform assigned cleaning and stocking side work.
• Periodically assist other service personnel.
• Perform other duties assigned by a supervisor.
