About The Position

Benchmark is seeking a part-time Server to join its assisted living dining team. The Server helps foster a clean and welcoming dining environment and provides friendly, personalized service to residents. The role includes serving appetizing meals promptly, supporting residents with meal choices and specific needs, and preparing the dining room for scheduled meals.

Requirements

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures and applicable Health Department regulations and guidelines for food service operations.
• Ability to serve food and beverages to residents promptly and efficiently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand in one place for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from residents and serve meals promptly, ensuring meals are presentable and appetizing.
• Set up and deliver meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed.
• Assist residents who need help selecting meals or have specific needs.
• Set up the dining room for the next scheduled meal.
• Assist with inventorying supplies.
