About The Position

Benchmark is seeking a Server to join its assisted living dining team. The role fosters a clean and welcoming dining environment while providing friendly, personalized service and serving appealing meals to residents. Servers take food and beverage orders, deliver meals and trays, assist residents with meal selection and specific needs, prepare the dining room for subsequent meals, and help inventory supplies.

Requirements

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures and relevant Health Department regulations and guidelines for food service operations.
• Ability to serve food and beverages to residents promptly and efficiently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand in one place for extended periods; the position is primarily standing.

Responsibilities

• Take residents’ food and beverage orders and serve meals promptly, ensuring meals are presentable and appetizing.
• Set up and deliver meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed.
• Assist residents with meal selection and address their specific needs.
• Set up the dining room for the next scheduled meal.
• Assist with inventorying supplies.
