About The Position

Benchmark is seeking a Server to join its dining team. The Server helps foster a clean and welcoming dining environment by providing friendly, personalized service and serving meals to residents. The role includes taking food and beverage orders, delivering meals, assisting residents with meal selections or specific needs, preparing the dining room for scheduled meals, and helping inventory supplies.

Requirements

• Able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures and applicable Health Department regulations and guidelines for food service operations.
• Able to serve food and beverages to residents promptly and efficiently.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand in one place for extended periods; the position is primarily standing.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from residents and serve meals promptly, ensuring they are presentable and appetizing.
• Set up and deliver meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed.
• Assist residents with meal selection and accommodate specific needs or requests.
• Set up the dining room for the next scheduled meal.
• Assist with inventorying supplies.
