About The Position

Benchmark is seeking a Server to join its dining team. The role is focused on fostering a clean and welcoming dining environment and providing friendly, personalized service to residents. The Server serves meals and beverages promptly, supports residents with meal choices and specific needs, and helps prepare the dining room for scheduled meals.

Requirements

• Be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Have knowledge of dietary procedures and related Health Department regulations and guidelines for food service operations.
• Be able to serve food and beverages to residents promptly and efficiently.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to stand in one place for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Take residents’ food and beverage orders and serve meals promptly, ensuring they are presentable and appetizing.
• Set up and deliver meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed.
• Handle requests from residents who need help selecting meals or have specific needs.
• Set up the dining room for the next scheduled meal.
• Assist with inventorying supplies.
