About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at The Boulevard Senior Living St. Peters. This is a part-time position where you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for residents, preparing tables and meals, maintaining cleanliness, and observing resident dining habits. We are looking for someone with a positive and energetic attitude who is at least sixteen years old, can communicate effectively in English, and is physically capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and assisting residents with mobility. A criminal background check is required.

Requirements

• At least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain residents.
• Foster an environment where residents can connect.
• Prepare tables for service, salads for meals, and roll silverware.
• Bus tables and sweep floors.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits, changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
