About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Part-Time Server to join our team at Boulevard Wentzville. We are looking for someone with a positive and energetic attitude who loves our residents. This role requires you to greet residents and make them feel welcome, be present in the dining room, mingle, entertain, and foster an environment where residents can connect. You will also be responsible for prepping tables for service, salads, and rolling silverware. Additionally, you will assist with bussing tables and sweeping floors. A crucial part of this role is to observe and communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding residents' dietary habits, appetite changes, or absences from meals.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Criminally cleared
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain
- Foster an environment where residents can connect
- Prep tables for service, salads, and roll silverware
- Bus tables and sweep floors
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness about residents' dietary habits, appetite changes, or absences from meals
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
- Assist persons after a fall
