About The Position

The Server is responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences through friendly, attentive, and professional guest service. The role includes guiding guests through the menu, taking and communicating food and beverage orders, serving items to established standards, anticipating guest needs, maintaining a clean dining area, processing payments, and coordinating with kitchen and bar staff. The position is at Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort in Kauai, Hawaii, and requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays. The listed salary is USD $16.00 per year.

Requirements

Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Meet the minimum age requirement of the jurisdiction.

Nice To Haves

Six months to one year of serving experience preferred.
