About The Position

As a Part-Time Server, you’ll help create meaningful dining experiences that bring joy to residents. You’ll work as part of a collaborative team, share ideas, respond thoughtfully to feedback, and contribute to a positive, caring community environment. The role supports casual and fine dining service, room service, and dining-area upkeep.

Requirements

Must be at least 15 years of age.
No previous work experience is required.
Must communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
Must be able to secure required food handler permits, as required by local ordinances, within two weeks of hire.
Where state regulations require it, applicants must obtain and submit a work permit at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

Assist residents in Casual Dining by carrying trays, offering beverages, and proactively meeting service needs.
Create welcoming Fine Dining experiences by greeting tables, guiding residents through menu selections, taking accurate orders, and serving courses from beverages to desserts.
Clear and reset tables, handle dishes carefully, fill and refill water carafes, and set tables before meals.
Maintain cleanliness and organization by vacuuming carpets, cleaning the salad bar, and completing other cleaning tasks as needed.
Deliver room-service meals and pick up trays with a friendly, positive attitude.
Listen and respond kindly to resident comments or concerns and share feedback with a manager or supervisor when needed.
Complete support work and other tasks assigned by supervisors or managers.
