About The Position
Benchmark is seeking a Server to join its dining team. This part-time morning role is scheduled from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The Server helps create a clean, welcoming dining environment and provides friendly, personalized service to residents by serving meals and assisting with their dining needs.
Requirements
- Follow written and oral instructions.
- Have knowledge of dietary procedures and applicable Health Department regulations and guidelines for food service operations.
- Serve food and beverages to residents promptly and efficiently.
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to stand in one place for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Take food and beverage orders from residents and serve meals promptly, ensuring they are presentable and appetizing.
- Set up and deliver meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed.
- Assist residents with meal selection and respond to their specific needs.
- Set up the dining room for the next scheduled meal.
- Assist with inventorying supplies.
