About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Parkway located at 550 NE Napoleon Drive, Blue Springs, MO 64014. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming environment for residents, preparing for meal services, maintaining cleanliness, and observing residents' dietary habits and appetite changes. The ideal candidate will have a positive and energetic attitude, be at least sixteen years of age, able to communicate in English at an 8th-grade proficiency, and be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The role also involves assisting residents with mobility and ensuring a criminally cleared background.

Requirements

• At least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Active; requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
• Foster an environment where residents can connect.
• Prepare tables for service, salads for meals, and roll silverware.
• Understand that successful meal service depends on preparation.
• Bus tables and sweep floors.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite.
• Report when residents are absent from meals.
• Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
• Assist persons after a fall.
