Server 4pm-7pm $15-21.50 (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Parkway located at 550 NE Napoleon Drive, Blue Springs, MO 64014. This part-time position involves greeting residents, preparing the dining area, assisting with meals, and maintaining cleanliness. The role requires a positive attitude, the ability to communicate effectively with residents, and physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, and assisting residents. We are looking for individuals who are at least sixteen years old, can communicate in English at an 8th-grade proficiency, and have a clean criminal record.
Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Must have a positive and energetic attitude.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
- Bus tables and sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
