Server - Per Diem
About The Position
RiverWoods is seeking per diem servers to join its culinary services team and provide customer service to residents in the Bistro and fine dining restaurants. Scheduling is flexible, with hours determined in coordination with the employee; potential shifts include afternoons and evenings, such as 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and afternoon hours may suit people with school, sports, or other commitments. No experience is required, and a resume is not required to apply. RiverWoods is a group of three continuing care retirement communities in Northern New England. The organization says its mission is to create community and provide peace of mind to residents, and it describes its communities as bright, attractive, and vibrant.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- No experience required.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents picking up meals or dining in the Bistro or fine dining restaurants.
- Help package residents’ to-go meals.
- Take meal orders from residents and their guests using tablet software.
- Set and clear tables and complete opening and closing side work, including rolling utensils and cleaning silverware and glassware.
- Provide full table service to residents.
- Coordinate with Dining Room Managers and Host/Hostesses to support resident satisfaction and smooth operations.
