About The Position

Responsible for serving food items in the main dining room as well as the private dining rooms and handling currency transactions.

Must be able to handle currency transactions.
Must be able to enter orders into a computer.
Must have knowledge of the full menu, daily specials, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages.
Must be able to check and maintain stock of glassware, china, and flatware.
Must be able to maintain a clean server station.
Must be able to record currency transactions accurately.
Must be able to process charge transactions.

Knowledge of restaurant hours, types of payment, hotel/other outlets marketing, and upselling.

Greets and serves customers in a professional and timely manner.
Completes all assigned opening and closing side work to prepare dining room, kitchen, and service stations for efficient operation during meal period.
Prepares non-alcoholic and other beverages for guests.
Prepares all condiments to garnish drink orders.
Takes food orders and enters them into computer.
Applies knowledge of the full menu, daily specials, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, and other restaurant information such as restaurant hours, types of payment, hotel/other outlets marketing, and upselling.
Checks and maintains stock of glassware, china, and flatware and communicates shortages to appropriate person.
Maintains a clean server station at all times by wiping chairs, table bases, table top, carpet, and details the table with appropriate settings.
Assists with answering the telephone and taking messages to give to the proper personnel when time allows.
Records currency transactions accurately on computer and tenders proper change.
Processes charge transaction through charge transmittal machine and prints, reviews, and submits a daily server report to the manager.
