About The Position

The Server prepares, oversees, and serves meals at The Reserve at Mills Farm, a high-quality Independent/Assisted Living and Memory Care Community. The role supports residents through food preparation and service, safe food handling, and friendly, professional communication with residents, clients, families, and visitors. Weekend availability is required. Team members can use Tapcheck to access earned wages instantly through a mobile app.

Requirements

At least a 10th-grade education.
Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
Ability to interpret and implement written or oral policies, procedures, and instructions.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
Effective communication skills.
Weekend availability.

Responsibilities

Prepare and/or pre-portion food and beverages, salads, desserts, and other assigned items for regular and therapeutic diets according to planned menus, production sheets, and supervisor direction.
Handle food using proper food-handling and food-safety techniques in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Serve food in an attractive and appetizing manner.
Use proper tasting techniques to ensure quality standards are met before service.
Maintain proper food temperatures during preparation and service, and record temperatures according to policy.
Follow procedures for serving partner meals.
Communicate warmly and professionally with residents, clients, family members, and visitors; respond to concerns with a helpful and caring demeanor.
Answer questions appropriately and professionally.
