About The Position

The Reserve at Mills Farm is seeking a part-time Server to assist with preparing, overseeing, and serving meals in an Independent/Assisted Living and Memory Care community. The role focuses on providing high-quality food service and warm, helpful interactions with residents and their families. Weekend availability is required. The Reserve at Mills Farm has partnered with Tapcheck, a mobile app that allows team members to access earned wages instantly. Requirements

At least a 10th-grade education.
Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
Ability to interpret and implement written or oral policies, procedures, and instructions.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
Effective communication skills.
Weekend availability.

Responsibilities

Prepare and/or pre-portion food and beverages, salads, desserts, and other assigned items for regular and therapeutic diets according to planned menus, production sheets, and supervisor direction.
Handle food using proper food-handling and food-safety techniques in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Serve food attractively and appetizingly, using proper tasting techniques to ensure quality standards are met before service.
Maintain proper food temperatures during preparation and service, and record temperatures according to established policy.
Follow procedures for serving partner meals.
Communicate with residents, clients, patients, and family members in a warm, friendly, approachable, and helpful manner; respond to expressed concerns and answer questions professionally when appropriate.
