About The Position

Five Iron Golf is hiring a Server for its new Austin location. Backed by Callaway Golf and Danny Meyer’s Enlightened Hospitality Investments, Five Iron combines golf technology with hospitality-driven service in sports bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Servers guide guests through the menu, make recommendations, and help enhance both the dining and gaming experience while supporting guest satisfaction and sales.

The role involves taking and delivering food and beverage orders, using point-of-sale terminals, maintaining knowledge of menu items, technology, products, and promotions, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Servers also help keep simulators and surrounding areas presentable, follow food-safety and alcohol-service regulations, verify guests’ legal drinking age, and assist with closing duties as needed. This is a part-time, non-exempt position requiring nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Follow Five Iron standards for guest engagement, including prompt drink service, upselling, and contributing to a lively atmosphere.
• Accurately take food and drink orders.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner.
• Maintain knowledge of food and beverage offerings; present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations.
• Monitor guests’ experiences and promptly address concerns.
• Use point-of-sale terminals to enter orders and process payments accurately.
• Keep golf simulators, tables, chairs, and surrounding areas clean and presentable.
• Check in with guests throughout their booking to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology, additional products, and promotions.
• Follow health and safety regulations for food handling, alcohol service, and cleanliness.
• Verify guests’ legal drinking age.
• Assist with closing duties as needed.
