About The Position

Five Iron Golf is seeking Bartenders for its new Austin location. Backed by Callaway Golf and Danny Meyer’s Enlightened Hospitality Investments, Five Iron combines technology with hospitality-driven service across sports bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Bartenders deliver exceptional service and genuine hospitality by greeting customers, learning their preferences, answering questions, recommending menu items, and preparing and serving beverages and food. This position reports directly to the General Manager.

Requirements

Server and/or hospitality experience is encouraged but not required.
Upbeat energy and enthusiasm.
Positive attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods.
Ability to obtain the proper licensing and certifications for the location.
Meet the state minimum age to serve alcohol.
Proficient verbal and oral communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Provide above-and-beyond service to guests with a friendly face.
Demonstrate expertise in spirits, beer, and wine.
Maintain an appealing, guest-ready bar area.
Determine guests’ beverage preferences and make appropriate recommendations.
Manage inventory and order supplies to keep the bar clean and well-stocked.
Create new ideas for specials, cocktails, and promotions.
Understand key business functions, including simulator functionality.
Verify identification to ensure customers are of legal age to purchase alcohol.
