About The Position

Bar Sprezzatura, located in the historic Heathman Hotel, is an Italian-inspired restaurant serving lunch by day and aperitivo and cicchetti in the evening. The Server creates memorable, high-quality dining experiences through knowledgeable, gracious, and attentive service. Servers represent the restaurant’s hospitality philosophy, anticipate guest needs, make personalized recommendations, and execute service to fine-dining standards. They also share the restaurant’s culinary vision with guests and foster genuine connections. The ideal candidate is hospitality-minded, organized, eloquent, attentive to detail, and committed to continually improving their own work and supporting their peers. Requirements

2–4 years of experience in a fine-dining or casual fine-dining atmosphere.
Exceptional communication skills.
Extensive food and wine knowledge.
Intellectual curiosity.
Ability to work cleanly, stay organized, and work as part of a team.
Basic math skills.
Ability to operate a POS and a Microsoft-based computer system.
At least 18 years of age.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
