About The Position

Streets of New York is seeking enthusiastic, friendly Servers to provide guests with a memorable dining experience at its North Scottsdale pizza and Italian restaurant. Servers greet guests, guide them through menu choices, take and deliver orders, monitor satisfaction, process payments, and help maintain a clean dining area. The role involves collaborating with kitchen staff and participating in training, meetings, and team events. The position is available full-time or part-time and pays $12.15 per hour plus tips.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Handler’s Certification or willingness to obtain it before starting.
• Positive attitude and passion for the food and beverage industry.
• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; employment verification will be submitted through E-Verify.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a server in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously.
• Know menu items and help guests choose based on their tastes, preferences, dietary needs, or allergies.
• Stay informed about promotions, specials, and offers and apply them according to restaurant policies.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely delivery to tables.
• Check in with guests during their meals to ensure satisfaction.
• Process cash and credit payments accurately and efficiently.
• Clear dishes and keep tables and the dining area clean and organized.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to support seamless service and communication.
• Follow health and safety regulations and restaurant policies.
• Perform light lifting to stock products and assist with dining-room cleaning and maintenance.
• Participate in team training, meetings, and events.
