About The Position
The Server is responsible for enhancing the guest experience by recommending and serving food and beverages according to Legal Sea Foods’ high-quality standards. Servers serve as primary points of contact for guests, interacting directly with them to take orders, provide menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately while maintaining a friendly and attentive demeanor. The position is full-time at LSF Framingham LLC in Framingham, Massachusetts. The listed hourly salary range is $20.00–$60.00. The employer notes that a study by its internal experts found that strong sellers earn up to $60.00 per hour. All new hires must complete Form I-9 and participate in the federal E-Verify process to confirm employment eligibility.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle cash and paperwork accurately.
- Demonstrates good judgment.
- Must be knowledgeable about Legal Sea Foods menus, policies, and procedures.
- Must be well versed in a Point-of-Sale system.
- Must demonstrate good manners, proper personal hygiene, a positive attitude, and promptness.
- Must be able to perform under pressure in a high-volume restaurant setting.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders.
- Explain menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods, and ask guests about allergies.
- Enter food and beverage orders accurately into the POS system.
- Provide attentive, personalized service and anticipate guests’ needs.
- Check on guests during meals to ensure satisfaction and address requests or concerns.
- Refill drinks, clear plates, and reset tables.
- Tidy tables, clear leftovers, set up stations, and maintain a pleasant dining area.
- Handle guest complaints and concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Present bills and process payment transactions accurately and promptly.
- Participate in pre-shift meetings and training sessions as required.
- Collaborate with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to support smooth service.
