About The Position

A Server coordinates the entire service station and communicates with front-of-house and back-of-house personnel to provide a dining experience that exceeds guest expectations. The role reports to the Restaurant Manager. This is a seasonal position expected to run for three months or through the first week of January 2027, with the possibility of continued employment as a permanent team member depending on business needs, performance, and availability.

Requirements

Knowledge of the sequence of service and dining room procedures.
Excellent communication skills.
Basic math skills.
Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule, often including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to maintain well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and present menus.
Inform guests of specials and menu changes, and answer questions about food, beverages, and allergies.
Receive food and beverage orders and relay them to kitchen staff and the bartender using a POS system.
Communicate with hosts, the table support team, kitchen staff, and bartenders to coordinate stations.
Present, open, and pour wine and beer for guests.
Assist the table support team with stocking work stations and removing and resetting used dishes and silverware.
Assist with the cash register at counter-service restaurants.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.
