About The Position

A Server coordinates the entire service station and communicates with front-of-house and back-of-house personnel to provide a dining experience that exceeds guest expectations. The position reports to the Restaurant Manager. This is a seasonal opportunity expected to last approximately three months, through the first week of January 2027, with the potential to become a permanent position depending on business needs, performance, and availability.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of the sequence of service and dining room procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule, often including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to maintain well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and present menus.
• Inform guests of specials and menu changes, and answer questions about food, beverages, and allergies.
• Receive food and beverage orders from guests and relay them to kitchen staff and bartenders using a POS system.
• Coordinate stations by communicating with hosts, the table support team, kitchen staff, and bartenders.
• Present, open, and pour wine and beer for guests.
• Assist the table support team with stocking work stations and removing and resetting used dishes and silverware.
• Assist with the cash register at counter-service restaurants.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.
