About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Server for the Hilton Garden Inn Grille & Bar. The position is part-time and requires weekend availability. Servers provide attentive food and beverage service, help ensure meals are correctly delivered and presented, and maintain clean, properly set stations. They must know menu items and service procedures, follow applicable liquor regulations, process guest checks and payments, and assist with bussing tables. The role requires a team-oriented approach, effective verbal communication, multitasking, guest-service skills, basic math, and the ability to operate equipment such as cash registers and calculators. Flexible hours and shifts are required. Applicants need at least a high school education and at least one year of hotel or restaurant serving experience; post-high-school education is preferred. Requirements

Responsibilities

Seat guests and take accurate food orders.
Monitor food distribution to ensure meals are delivered to the correct guests and are properly prepared and presented, or that the buffet is appealing.
Check the station before, during, and after the shift to ensure proper setup and cleanliness.
Follow state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations concerning service to minors and intoxicated guests.
Learn and apply menu-item knowledge, preparation details, and service procedures.
Total guest checks, present them, and accept payment.
Assist with bussing tables.
Perform other duties as assigned.
