About The Position
The Server position enhances the guest experience by recommending and serving food and beverages according to Legal Sea Foods’ high-quality standards. As a primary point of contact for guests, the Server takes orders, offers menu recommendations, and delivers food and beverages promptly and accurately while maintaining a friendly and attentive demeanor. The role is based at LSF Lynnfield LLC in Lynnfield, Massachusetts. It is full-time, with any shift. The stated salary range is $20.00–$60.00 per hour; the posting notes that strong sellers can earn up to $60.00 per hour. New hires must complete Form I-9 and participate successfully in the federal E-Verify process, which Legal Sea Foods uses to confirm employment eligibility.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle cash and paperwork accurately.
- Demonstrates good judgment.
- Must be knowledgeable about Legal Sea Foods menus, policies, and procedures.
- Must be well versed in point-of-sale systems.
- Exhibits good manners, proper personal hygiene, a positive attitude, and promptness.
- Must be able to perform under pressure in a high-volume restaurant setting.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders.
- Explain menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods, and ask guests about allergies.
- Enter food and beverage orders accurately into the POS system.
- Provide attentive, personalized service and anticipate guests’ needs.
- Check on guests during meals to ensure satisfaction and address requests or concerns.
- Refill drinks, clear plates, and reset tables.
- Help tidy tables, clear leftovers, set up stations, and maintain a pleasant dining area.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Present bills and process payments accurately and promptly.
- Participate in pre-shift meetings and training sessions as required.
- Collaborate with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
