About The Position

Hillcrest Health & Living is seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-minded Server for its dining team at Hillcrest Silver Ridge, a senior living community in Gretna, Nebraska. The Server supports dining room service and helps ensure meals are served professionally, promptly, and in a welcoming manner. The role contributes to residents’ comfort, connection, and overall experience by providing respectful service and maintaining a pleasant dining environment. The ideal candidate enjoys serving others, pays attention to details, and can work in a fast-paced dining environment while maintaining a positive, patient, and professional approach. Previous relevant experience is preferred but not required. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Previous serving, dining room, restaurant, hospitality, healthcare, or senior living experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Greet residents and guests warmly, professionally, and respectfully.
Take meal orders and communicate them clearly to the cook or chef.
Serve meals in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
Assist the cook or chef with meal preparation support as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and pleasant dining room.
Clear, sanitize, and reset tables efficiently.
Wash dishes, silverware, glasses, and other dining items as needed.
Vacuum dining areas and spot-clean as needed.
Wash, dry, fold, and store linens.
Sanitize and refill condiment containers.
Wrap silverware and assist with dining room setup.
Prepare the daily menu board for the following day.
Support culinary, health services, housekeeping, residents, families, and team members with kindness and professionalism.
Perform other duties as assigned.
