About The Position

Arrow Senior Living manages a collection of senior living communities that offer varying levels of care including independent living, assisted living, and memory care in 25 properties currently in 5 states (Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana) and employs nearly 1,400 employees! This position is located at Vitalia Senior Residences at Strongsville. We are looking for someone to be a Host with the Most, a Peppy Prepper, and a Titan of Tidiness. Being a great host means greeting residents and making them feel welcome, being present in the dining room, mingling, entertaining, and fostering an environment where residents can connect. Being a Peppy Prepper means understanding that a successful meal service can only happen if you’re prepared, whether prepping a table for service, salads for the next meal, or rolling silverware. Being a Titan of Tidiness involves bussing tables and sweeping floors, playing a crucial part in making the community something we can be proud of.

Requirements

At least sixteen (16) years of age
Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency
Positive and energetic attitude
Active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
Criminally cleared

Responsibilities

Greet residents and make them feel welcome
Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain
Foster an environment where residents can connect
Prep tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware
Bus tables
Sweep floors
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
Assist persons after a fall
