About The Position
Serve food to residents and guests in La Vida Real’s fine-dining, in-house restaurant. The restaurant offers made-to-order dining with fresh ingredients, fine china, and seasonal and regional menus featuring signature dishes and daily specials. Part-time AM and PM shifts are available, including weekends and holidays. The position has no late nights. Training is provided, and food-handler certifications must be maintained.
Responsibilities
- Prepare tables and present menus.
- Answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and service.
- Stay knowledgeable about posted daily specials.
- Write food orders and relay them to the kitchen.
- Serve courses from the kitchen and service bars.
- Clear and reset counters or tables at the conclusion of each course.
- Help keep dining tables, chairs, floors, linens, and serving stations clean, bussed, and stocked.
- Maintain required food-handler certifications.
