Requirements

• Experience working a minimum of 2-3 years in Food & Beverage.
• Previous experience as a server.
• Thrive working in a fast-paced, large team environment.
• Continuous standing for up to 8 hours a day.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be flexible with schedule - Able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays shifts.
• Strong oral presentation skills.
• Ability to carry and balance a tray.
• Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions.
• Ability to multi-task in a high volume and demanding environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to handle difficult situations and guests.
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Take guest orders and describe food & beverage menu items with vivid descriptions of origin, taste, and preparation.
• Communicate guest orders, including special needs, to the kitchen and bar using the point-of-sales system; coordinate food and beverage timings.
• Check kitchen orders against the original guest order and deliver items to the table promptly to ensure food quality.
• Anticipate guest needs, ensure satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond urgently to concerns and requests.
• Adapt to guests by reading each table and creating a customized experience for local guests, international travelers, and residents.
• Accurately close guest checks, process cash and credit card payments, and settle voided checks or complimentary meals.
• Breakdown, clean, and set-up tables and chairs.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
• Assist with responsibilities in other Food & Beverage areas during absences or heavy volume.
