Requirements

A valid Serve Right Certification;
At least 2 years serving experience in a similar environment;
The ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum, staying calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment;
Excellent observation skills & high attention to detail, offering a helping hand to all guests whenever needed, before they even need to ask;
Passion for food, beverage and providing excellent customer service;
Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Welcoming each guest warmly and with enthusiasm, always creating an exceptional first impression;
Enthusiastically inform guests about our offerings and share your menu knowledge to make the best recommendations;
Accurately and precisely entering information into the pos system ensuring communications are clear for the BOH team;
Provide recommendations and create a positive guest experience;
Responding promptly and courteously to any guest request or concerns;
Going above and beyond for special requests or celebrations and taking food preferences and guest allergies or dietary restrictions seriously;
Maintain a clean section and monitor food quality to ensure all items are held to freehand presentation standards;
Keenly following all food safety standards and systems;
Such other related duties and responsibilities as may be required from time to time.
Expertly answering questions about food, beverage, wine and other restaurant functions and services;
Proficiently assisting with food running that plates arrive to the proper guest, using table and seat numbers, without needing to “auction off” dishes;
Emptying garbage, linen bags and disposing of garbage and recycling;
Monitoring the cleanliness of sections and ensuring all materials and areas are clean and free from clutter;
Professionally communicating with servers and hosts to maximize seating;
Communicating to all servers any comments or information provided by guests to ensure a positive, memorable experience;
Keenly following all food safety standards and systems;
Such other related duties and responsibilities as may be required from time to time.
