About The Position

The Server / Culinary Assistant provides dining room and to-go meal service to residents at The Sanctuary of St. Cloud, an affordable senior living community with 101 Assisted Living and 36 Memory Care apartments. The schedule is 15 hours per two weeks, on a day/early evening shift from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., including every other Saturday and Sunday.

Requirements

• Less than one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals and ensure the dining area is clean and inviting.
• Follow the meal serving schedule and procedures.
• Offer residents meal choices and meet their specific dietary needs.
• Use proper safety and sanitation techniques.
• Follow dining room cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Follow proper dining room setup procedures and work flow.
• Learn and become proficient with the EMenu System and restaurant-style service.
• Wash, sanitize, and put away all dishes, including flatware and drinkware, before the end of the shift.
• Promote positive resident relations and satisfaction by welcoming residents and initiating conversation.
• Accommodate resident requests, such as food substitutions or seating changes.
• Listen to complaints and respond appropriately; refer issues to the Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.
