About The Position

Amira Choice of Roseville on Lexington Avenue is a senior living community with Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Care Suites. Ebenezer is hiring a Server/Culinary Assistant to provide dining room meal service to senior residents and maintain supplies in kitchenettes for the Assisted Living community. The schedule is 15 hours per two weeks, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the evening shift, including every other weekend and a holiday rotation.

Requirements

Less than one year of experience.

Responsibilities

Serve meals and ensure the dining area is clean and inviting.
Follow meal-serving schedules and procedures.
Offer residents meal choices and meet their specific dietary needs.
Use proper safety and sanitation techniques.
Follow dining room cleaning schedules and procedures.
Follow proper dining room setup procedures.
Follow proper workflow to stay on task.
Learn and become proficient with the EMenu System and restaurant-style service.
Wash, sanitize, and put away all dishes, including flatware and drinkware, before the end of the shift.
Promote positive resident relations and satisfaction.
Welcome residents and initiate conversation.
Accommodate resident requests, including food substitutions and seating changes.
Listen to complaints, respond appropriately, and refer issues to the Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.
Maintain supplies in Assisted Living community kitchenettes.
