About The Position

The Culinary Server supports the dining experience of residents by working with culinary leaders and service staff. The role assists with meal preparation and portioning according to the menu and residents’ dietary requirements, prepares trays and carts for service, collects soiled trays, washes dishes, and cleans equipment to help maintain a clean, sanitary work environment. The position is at Lincoln Lodge, part of American Senior Communities.

Requirements

• Commitment to customer service.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work effectively alongside the culinary team and leaders.

Nice To Haves

• Sanitation or safe food handling certification is preferred unless required by state or federal agencies; certifications can be earned while employed with ASC.
• Prior restaurant server experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents’ needs and provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist with preparing and portioning meal items according to the menu and residents’ dietary requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for serving residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Clean equipment as needed and maintain a clean, sanitary workplace.
