About The Position

Cardinal Landing Memory Care is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Culinary Server to support meal preparation and portioning, provide dining service, and maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas. The role helps create a positive dining experience by supporting meal service before, during, and after meals while following hygiene, organization, teamwork, and sanitation standards. The schedule varies by day and shift, mainly evenings, with weekends and holidays required. The position is located at 1310 Campbell Lane, Bowling Green, KY 42104, and starts at $14.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of all ServSafe educational requirements.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and computer skills.
• Enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality and professionalism, and be a positive leader.
• Practical interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and good decision-making skills.
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with residents and co-workers.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds and to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, reach, and sit for long periods.
• Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and portion allocation according to the menu and weekly schedule.
• Complete resident checklists and report results to the cook or Culinary Director.
• Assist with meal service in accordance with sanitation standards.
• Immediately inform the Culinary Director of substandard food quality.
• Monitor food and beverages to ensure proper temperatures.
• Bus tables and wash dishes using the full-hands-in, full-hands-out method.
• Clean equipment as assigned.
• Keep dining and kitchen areas clean in accordance with community procedures.
• Prepare, handle, store, and dispose of food in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Clean workspaces, cooking and serving equipment, trays, and dishes according to standards.
• Load and unload the dishwasher and properly store clean equipment and dishes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
