About The Position

Amira Choice Minnetonka, managed by Ebenezer, is a 100-unit senior living community offering Independent and Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Care Suites. The Server/Culinary Assistant provides dining room food and meal service to residents and maintains supplies in the kitchenettes. The role follows a schedule of 80 hours per two weeks, Sunday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals and ensure the dining area is clean and inviting.
• Follow meal-serving schedules and procedures.
• Offer residents meal choices and meet their specific dietary needs.
• Use proper safety and sanitation techniques.
• Follow dining room cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Follow proper dining room setup procedures and work flow.
• Learn and become proficient with the EMenu System and restaurant-style service.
• Wash, sanitize, and put away all dishes, including flatware and drinkware, before the end of the shift.
• Welcome residents and initiate conversation to promote positive resident relations and satisfaction.
• Accommodate resident requests, such as food substitutions or seating changes.
• Listen to complaints, respond appropriately, and refer issues to the Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.
• Maintain supplies in the community kitchenettes.
