About The Position

Atwater's Kenilworth is a high-volume quick-service operation serving soups, breakfast, sandwiches, salads, specialty coffee, and pastries. The Server/Barista provides an excellent customer experience by making handcrafted espresso drinks and preparing tea and other beverages according to company recipes. The role supports a positive company image through Atwater's signature service to customers and staff members. This position is in person in Towson, Maryland. Full-time and part-time schedules are offered. The role requires standing and walking for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Barista experience is a plus.
One year of serving experience preferred.
One year of customer service experience preferred.
One year of phone etiquette experience preferred.
One year of barista experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet every customer who approaches the market stall.
Keep the dining area clean and visually pleasing at all times.
Educate customers about the seasonal menu and products.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of company values and the menu.
Accurately take orders at the register and assist customers through the sales process.
Prepare espresso drinks to order and pour drip coffee, tea, and lemonade.
Restock the espresso bar throughout the day according to stocking procedures.
Ensure every order meets Atwater's food and beverage quality standards.
Answer telephone calls and transfer them to the appropriate department when required, using excellent phone etiquette.
Follow health and sanitation procedures and safe work practices.
Perform other duties assigned by supervisors or managers.
