About The Position

Set up outlets for banquet functions and serve food and beverage items in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner according to the company’s standards of quality and excellence. The role contributes to both company and individual goals.

Responsibilities

• Check and maintain the proper setup of guest tables before, during, and after service, including ensuring tableware is in place, clearing tables, and resetting them after guests leave.
• Check and maintain the proper setup and cleanliness of the service station before, during, and after the shift.
• Prepare banquet outlets and venues by cleaning and vacuuming areas when applicable and ensuring props, utensils, equipment, and decorations are in place before functions begin.
• Break down banquet setups after each function, clean the outlet or venue, and return items and doors to their proper areas and secure them.
• Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests about their overall satisfaction.
• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Adhere to the posted work schedule.
• Offer guests suggestions and ideas to increase the average food and beverage check.
