About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Banquets Server to greet banquet guests, take orders accurately, and serve food. The role assists the banquets team with all aspects of banquet functions from start to finish. The server is expected to embody the company’s Promise to Lead with Love by supporting associates and delivering extraordinary guest experiences with professionalism and a helpful attitude.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a server and set-up houseperson.
• General food and beverage knowledge, including at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations experience.
• Flexibility to work long hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform preparatory tasks and side work duties so guests are served promptly and efficiently.
• Read banquet event orders (BEOs) and become familiar with the menu for the assigned function.
• Serve guests according to resort standards in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Greet banquet guests, take orders accurately, and serve food.
• Assist the banquets team with all aspects of banquet functions from start to finish.
